I am working on a project, as mentioned before on here, to make detailed webpages on my site covering my favourite museum, Wigram. I'm hoping that to fill some gaps some of you may be able to offer some information and/or photos please. Photos will of course be credited to the owners.
- Harvard NZ1087
When did this aircraft arrive at the museum? adf.serials says October 1981, but the museum's own late 1980's/early 1990's booklet states 1984.
Does anyone have a photo or two of this aircraft before it was painted as NZ948? I'm sure one or two have ben posted here before - can you help please?
- Harvard NZ1050
Has anyone got nice shots of the gate guard Harvard when it was in its yellow schemes? The earliest scheme saw it with red '050' numerals on its side. Later these went and a black 21 was painted on it, with a blue band on the fuselage. I don't have decent photos though. Does anyone know when and how often it was repainted? I was involved in painting it in April/May 1993 to the Dove Grey/International Orange scheme it now wears (I think it may have had a new coat since then too??)
Other aircraft
I'd really like to find photos of the following aircraft that are in or have been associated with the museum. When I lived there, there was no photography permitted, and when I have since visited I used a video camera in 2004, and in 2006 I found my battery ran out so didn't get too many aircraft shots. I really need...
