TVAL flying weekends & public holidays?

How does TVAL handle public holidays that occur within their last weekend of the month summer flying schedule?
Specifically, it looks like I'll be in NZ this coming December (2016) and am hoping to catch one of these spectacular events.
However December 2016 looks to be a bit difficult insofar as the last full weekend 24/25th runs over Christmas and the following weekend 31/1st is New Year's.

As you can see from this year's dates, they were happy to go with 26th + 27th December.
I would be very surprised if they went with 24th + 25th.
Two years of the current arrangements isn't really enough to make a prediction, and they could always change their mind anyway!
In reality I assume they will make a call in September or so, and announce it.
