Warbirds over Wanaka | Troops

It was my first time attending Warbirds over Wanaka this year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I attended Classic Fighters last year and got properly hooked after a few Tauranga shows over the past few years as well. I went down primarily for the photographic opportunities but I wasn't sure what to expect as had been the case at Omaka. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see the location and its features. The airfield location in relation to it's backdrop and position of the sun was a bonus - I don't get to backlight in nice conditions often.

Cheers lads! Johnny, I use high end Nikon gear with 2 zooms and a prime at the long end.
