I was interested to see the former AFC Corsair pictured in he feature on the "Musea Aasa De Um Sonho" or "Wings of Dreams" museum in Brazil.
It's now in US colours, but they've added some high gloss clear coat that looks like Johnson's Klear floor shine to it and all their aicraft.
They all look well loved and looked after, but I much preferred ZK-FUI back in the days it was oil stained and noisy and in NZ skies.

It was also interesting to discover it was Pratt & Whitney that bought the Corsair from Alpine, and then gifted it to the private Brazilian museum. I never knew that.

Yes Dave they do look well loved but I too loved her as 5201 also, much nicer paint job. I see they have installed a forward aerial mast on her now.
Interesting to see they can build a 'new' Miles M2 hawk now, boy I love those wee hawks.......mmm I wonder how much a new build airframe costs................
