Great photos of the Zeke, although I believe that Sakai has always denied that he ever flew this aircraft, and it seems a pretty long stretch to me to overrule the man! Apparently Sakai tended to record the aircraft tail numbers (rather then the individual aircraft's serial number) in his log book.

I always think Zeros look so dull in the grey scheme,as opposed to the green or the camouflage schemes.

The grey is actually a light grey with a slight tinge of green
