Again looking like a marvelous show set for this weekend. The ex-Oz Baghdad Fury has just arrived in a new scheme and looks very smart indeed. Will be very interesting to see if the new rules introduced by the CAA have any affect on the displays apart from moving the barriers a little and putting the tank bay off limits. Wish I was there........ walks away glumly.....

I hope you have a great weekend with lots of super flying, good weather and safe activities. Are you commentating or watching Ando?

I've been following preparations via Facebook and the Key Forum - the Sea Fury looks like a definite highlight, as well as the former Omaka-based Lockheed 12. Also there are photos of Steve Hinton and Steve Hinton flying the Hawk 75 and early P-40. THAT will be cool!
Have an awesome time, Ando! I'll be thinking of you enviously while I'm at my model bench this weekend.

Walks away glumly............. Bernard was chosen to do the commentary again with Trevor. Very sad. This weekend I shall be thinking about Legends but unfortunately not there. Trevor has asked me to 'do' Old Sarum in the UK again for him this September so am looking forward to that. Lovely WW.I field with original hangars, gun butts etc in the rolling hills. The Fury at Duxford shall be a highlight. Pity Rob's former Baghdad Fury cannot join it from Belgium.

Hoping Don will give us a thorough review next week! I was there last year, and not likely again for a while, first venture overseas then. yes the Fury is looking resplendent and bright! Waiting for the YouTube videos!!
Don has posted quite a few pics on his Facebook page of two days at RIAT, RAF Fairford, and going to watch Flying Legends on Sunday. Last year, I had Silverstone one weekend, the next was Flying Legends, and the weekend after that was RIAT - all nicely timed and within about 75miles of each other! This year, all three events are on the same weekend.
