There is currently a thing called the "22 For 22 Challenge" running on the internet where ex-service personnel are doing 22 Press Ups for 22 Days, all filmed, and posting to Youtube and Facebook in a campaign to raise awareness of the many veterans who are committing suicide every day - some studies claiming an average of 22 every day!
My good mate Sid Gould is a veteran of the British Parachute Regiment and the New Zealand Army, having served in many tough spots from the first Gulf War to East Timor. He suffered PTSD and he's written a book about his experiences called The Mind of War, which has helped many others in the same position.
He was challenged to do the "22 For 22 Challenge" and he asked Mike Cater and myself help him make a film where he decided to do all his press ups in one day, just to be different. It was a hilarious day of filming. Here is the results, with both that great humour that only a soldier could possess, and a very important message as well.
I hope you'll watch and I hope you'll share this.
