That might mean the MkV is close to flight , the P 40 must have made progress too .

Why does the paperwork say TFC and 'THE Fighter Collection'?
Are we sure this is the ex AFC Mk XIV NH799? I had this down in the custodianship/ownership of Paul Page.

I'm fairly sure it's the same machine. The CAA page in the link I posted reflects this.
The Fighter Collection sold it to the Alpine Fighter Collection, who operated it for a year or so before Sir Tim Wallis crashed it. The registration then passed to Pacific Aerospace Ltd, and after that to a 'company' called Aviation Traders who's address was that of a local Cambridge accountant with connections to Pacific Aerospace.
I have heard before that some American (called Paul Page?) had bought the machine after the crash, but registration has been kept up locally it seems.

There's a catch to CAA ownership statistics. Aircraft owners are by law, people or organisations that have had possession of an aircraft for 20 or more days, regardless whether they financially own it or not. An organisation repairing or storing a registered aircraft will become the owners on the CAA database after 20 days.

Well it has been under Avspecs roof for a lot longer tha 20 days , it must have been there for something like 9 months at least .

It has been with AvSpecs for years. It first underwent restoration at their old Rotorua facility before moving up to Ardmore and being stored.
So, I have learned something from this thread anyway. CCA registration "Change of Ownership" does not mean ownership at all. I should have worked that out, but oh well.

Its listed for sale on the Provenance website, saying that it will be flying by next year. I think quite a lot of work was done on it post the crash.
