Soldiers who remained in Greece or Crete

I know a lot of New Zealand soldiers did not manage to escape from Greece and Crete when the evacuations occurred, and they were hidden by locals and often eventually joined the resistance movement to continue the fight in clandestine fashion behind the enemy lines. Are there any books written by or about such men? Or radio or TV interviews available with these chaps?'

Same goes for the escaped POW's who hid out and joined the partisans in Italy.
