Yee Ha! Just received a mint condition copy of "The Topdressers" by Janic Geelen and a First Edition to boot ! Perfect Cover and now a prized possession. Sought out through Tom Williams after Masterton and obtained by Hedleys Booksellers in Queen Street Masterton. Great detail in there about all the early days and only found out about it through John Barge who loaned me his copy for research for the, unfortunately, aborted Wings show. Who's a very, very happy boy!

Hedley's Bookshop is a real treasure.
David Hedley is really good at tracking down “hard to find” books and getting them for the best price. I've gone to him a few times when I've been trying to track something down via the internet without much success and he has always come through with the goods using his contacts all around the world. David Headley is also a boutique publisher and has been involved in publishing limited-edition biographies of several high-profile music superstars over the years. It is actually quite astounding who he knows personally, including such people as Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

It was worth every cent and more. Never thought that I would be able to obtain a copy and there it is on my dining room table ! It shall have to wait till I return from Omaka for a detailed analysis but so looking forward to it then delving into Hirohito's War
