Hi All, I noted your reference to Hurricane P2902 being 'for sale' in the UK. This is the Hurricane that Squadron Leader McGlashan AFC was shot down in over Dunkirk in 1940 and was recovered 50 years later. I have written a book about McGlashan titled 'Down to Earth' and the Hurricane features throughout the tale. To the best of my knowledge, the Hurricane is not for sale. It is now in the VERY capable hands of Hawker Restorations at Suffolk in the UK, being restored to flying condition. I can't seem to post a photo of P2902 that I took prior to its move to Suffolk, so if you're interested there's more information about the Hurricane at my website www.owenzupp.comCheers Owen P.S. Any tips on using the photo upload would be appreciated

Owen, there's a 'forum announcement' at the top of every board with instructions for posting photos. Welcome to the forum.

I would have thought we would have heard by now in the news, gossip columns, etc?
Nice website Owen, you obviously have a big passion for flying and history.

Thanks. The website was a bit of an effort for a Luddite , but I'm happy with it. Yes, aviation is a passion. I fly for a living, but write about it for the love of it. I won't clog up this thread with my background, but I'll post as appropriate where I can. Cheers Owen

so nothing new here. I take it either nobody knows or it was nothing to start with.
