This advert - paid for by the helicopter manufacturer - ran in New Zealand Wings Magazine in July 1995. Obviously they were hoping to win the deal that say the New Zealand Government actually buy Kaman Seasprites for the RNZN/RNZAF. But it's an interesting "what-if" I guess.  |

I know this is kind of nitpicky, but shouldn't the tail have NAVY on it instead of RNZN?

I know this is kind of nitpicky, but shouldn't the tail have NAVY on it instead of RNZN? At the time its was being touted as a Wasp replacement and the Wasp had RNZN on the tailboom. |

Didn't the frigates have even bigger numbers on the side when we had Leander class though CORRECT. But our frigates are in black and in very narrow lettering. We do not have them in Large white numbers with a black back ground on the bow. Check out this Vid of one of RNZN ship note the lettering. Verses RANs |
