Hahaha! It does not seem to have been doctored, this appeared in the EVENING POST on 22 OCTOBER 1935, but it also appeared in other newspapers. I guess they didn't have a complete one to stand in front of?   |

Hmmm, can't see the king post or landing wires, so the wing tips must be propped on stands just out of the photo.
