Hi all, About three years ago I bought a Revell (reboxed Eduard) 1/48 Fokker Dr.I to build as the classic incarnation of ZK-FOK, as flown by Stuart Tantrum and John Lanham at airshows across NZ between 1985 and 2003 or so. I grew up with this as THE Fokker Triplane and as such never cared much for the all-red version. Aviattic in the UK makes lozenge decals and once I saw they did the same scheme as FOK wore I knew I could actually do it justice. Add an Engines & Things resin Continental 670 engine and voila: 35788346803_b660ed8eda_o by Zac Yates, on Flickr I just need to get more white paint for the backgrounds of the wing crosses and then I'll be ready to show off some decent photos. Very pleased with how this has turned out.

Like it a lot! Needs some silver fabric patches along the rib tapes of the lower wing centre section between the Cabanes - I put them on there! (We didnt have time to touch up the paint finish for several months, during which it was at several airshows, including the Auckland Air Expo...)
