There are some interesting photos in that collection.
The NZPAF/RNZAF has only ever operated two floatplane types (DH60 Moth and Auster) and two skiplane types (Beaver and Auster). But I wonder how many kiwis operated floatplanes or skiplanes with other Air Forces in WWII.
I'm thinking S/Ldr Henry Ramsbottom-Isherwood with his skiplane Hurricane Wing in Russia. Can anyone think of others?

I may be wrong but I thought some of the ones in the film about him were on skis, and they were towed around the airfield by reindeer.

What about the Fairey IIIF and Avro 504 (albeit in civil use)

Oh yes, I forgot the Fairey IIIF. The Avro does not count though.
