I’m trying to track down photos on the wireless transmitter and wind-driven generator powering it, as used on the kiwi Bristol F.2B, and am hoping the experts here can offer some assistance. The only photograph I can find of the generator is mounted on the panel beneath the gunner’s cockpit in this photo, and not much detail can be seen: i.imgur.com/ql2N2Ad.jpgCan anyone point me in the direction of better photos and/or more information on either generator or wireless? This would be for a future scale model modification. I don’t know if other aircraft used these, either in NZPAF service or during WWI. Thanks in advance for any help! Mike

That photo is my scan. Do you want a closer crop from the original?

Yes please Dave, anything you think would be helpful. Hope you don't mine my uploading the photo separately, I saved all the kiwi F2B photos I could find online and in my books into a private online album so that I have them in one place and lost track of the source of time photos.
I noticed as well that the Bristol in the photo appears to have a bulged belly under the cockpit, also something I've not seen before. Am waiting for the books from Windsock to arrive to see what I can figure out on that detail.
Cheers
