Hi folks, Been working on this project for some time, it's set in an alternate 1989. And this particular teaser is from the RNZAF character's perspective.

I found this on Youtube. Can you explain the project further please Lew? Is it going to be a game? A film? It's rather cool, a bit like a Kiwi Red Dawn.

So sorry it took me ages to reply, I thought I had the thread notify me on email if anyone posted, must not have been the case. The video there is a backstory of events leading up to when my project is set. Pretty much it's a script in it's fourth draft - ideally it'd be a live action 10 part series, netflix style. Realistically it'll most likely be a CG animated online series made by me at home haha. Which I'll most likely release on my youtube page (which I've just set up) and try and fun through something like Patreon. It follows two Auckland families through a Cold War turning hot and coming to NZ. What I'm doing at the moment is creating teasers: 'By Air' 'By Sea' 'By Land' these follow the perspective of the three main characters: - Flight Officer Claire Whareaitu (one of the first women combat pilots) - Sub-Lieutenant Michael Whareaitu (Claire's brother and junior officer aboard the HMNZS Canterbury) - Sergeant Barry Kerridge (Michael's brother-in-law and NZ Army Scorpion tank commander) After than I'll put together a general story trailer, it's really all about trying to spread the word and get people interested. If I do it myself, it'll most likely be 5-8 minute episodes and way more than 10 lol. But yes, lots of work to do! But really glad you guys are interested in it! Cheers, Lew

Hi guys! It's been a little while but have been working vigorously on this project still. Have been making promotional scenes, one for NZ, one for Australia and am currently working on the one for the United States. The NZ one is from the POV of an RNZAF Orion, I hope I got as much right as possible, the targeting of the Soviet sub may be a lot quicker and easier than it would have been in reality, sped and eased this up for pacing of the narrative, hope I did okay!

Really cool and well thought out. Looking forward to seeing more, particularly on the RNZAF.
