There has been rumours over yrs that the former RAN carrier HMAS Melbourne wasn't scaped when she was sold the Chinese,could this be her after a completed rebuild or a fake? And if it’s is a fake its bloody one.

They used to have the ex-soviet carrier Minsk on display in Shenzen, but it was sold and moved in 2016, could it be this?
I imagine its a fake as it would be easier to put there than a real one. Very convincing if so!

It's fake. Its actually a building built to look like a carrier and no, it's not the Melbourne or the Minsk. Take a look at the link to my flickr page; there's descriptions next to the images.

What a great idea for a museum, I see the military vehicles are inside the carrier building.

I like the idea of navalised Nanchang Q-5s! Real life "what if?" modelling! I've always wanted to build a model of one and that would be an interesting twist...

Hi exkiwiforces, was interesting getting a good look at the Chinese equipment. I went to a tank museum in Beijing, I'll put some pictures up eventually.

Oh yeah, Zac, I did a walkaround of a Q-5 whilst in China, so if you have a kit, it might be useful.
