from The Washington Post....Trump lauded delivery of F-52s to Norway. The planes only exist in ‘Call of Duty’.By ALEX HORTON | 12:05PM EST - Thursday, January 11, 2018PRESIDENT TRUMP caused a stir with his announcement that the United States had delivered F-52 fighter jets to Norway.
Was it a secret advanced jet capable of beating its Russian counterparts? A ruse to fool intelligence analysts?
Neither, it turns out. The “F-52” is a fictional jet only available to fly if you’re a gamer at the controls of “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare”.
Trump lauded the sale of the fictional planes alongside Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg at the White House on Wednesday, remarking on the very real and growing defense relationship with America's Northern Europe ally.
“In November we started delivering the first F-52s and F-35 fighter jets,” Trump said. “We have a total of 52 and they've delivered a number of them already a little ahead of schedule.”• To read the rest of the article, CLICK HERE.

Are we supposed to believe a 17x generation development fighter?. Obviously fake news ,as they are struggling to deliver F-35. Wonder what the unit cost for an F-52 will be???

F52 isn't that the singularity aircraft where the entire DOD budget buys 1 airframe.

The White House Press Corps briefing will go something along the lines of Jim Acosta asking about the president referring to non-existent fighter jets and in riposte Sarah Huckabee Sanders will state that no such thing was said by the President and that the press are constantly getting things wrong and painting the president in an unfair light and that the Fake News press should concentrate on accuracy instead of quoting unnamed and unverifiable sources that turn out to be false...
Copy, paste, repeat.

Yeah, except that the resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue said it during a news conference with lots of television cameras dutifully recording everything he said.
A bit like Trump's ambassador to the Netherlands who got pulled up by a Dutch journalist over something racist he had said during a conference a couple of years ago, then when the ambassador denied he had said it and claimed it was “fake news”; the journalist then played footage of the speech at the conference, whereupon the ambassador denied he had denied it, or used the term “fake news” even though he had just been recorded (less than a minute before) saying exactly what he was denying he had said.
At a subsequent news conference a week later (two days ago), Dutch journalists really went for the jugular demanding answers about that, and subsequent matters, whereupon the ambassador terminated the news conference and walked out. There's footage of both news conferences on Twitter and YouTube. It makes for really entertaining viewing.
However, I'm still laughing about the F52 fighters. Bloody hilarious!! Although, looking at the YouTube clip taken from the cockpit of a F52 in the video game, they would be amazingly-advanced fighters if they were real. Perhaps in another two or three generations of fighter development into the future, something like that may become reality.

Didn't similar tongue/brain-trouble happen to an earlier President in a public announcement about the F-117??

Didn't similar tongue/brain-trouble happen to an earlier President in a public announcement about the F-117?? it certainly was with the RS-71. mind you with the missileer concept based on a bomber the USAF is looking at to support stealth fighters, there is a remote chance the B-52 could get an F designation.

Good thing Norway is not on his list of s@+#house countries. They may have ended up with a boxkite. Maybe Trump ment to say B52? I'm sure the Norwegian Air Force has a use for some surplus bombers
