I am fortunate that the RAAF bring their C130J’s out quite often so tried a new spot with a new lens, 150 to 600 all hand held, third and last shots 28 to 135. Different spot for different angles and better light. Bit arty with the ground equipment. The runway on Lord Howe Island is only 3,000ft so calls for some piloting skill! So lucky we can get so close and with a new lens even closer! This one shot at a very slow speed 1/40th at F20, bit soft, bit overexposed but love the blurred background. Bonus, when she parked a rainbow showed up behind her! Love to hear anyones comments/criticism keen to improve and hear from those with experience, thank you....

Nice photos. The over-exposed one still looks good, nice panning

Lovely light for photos - right in the edge though for that low speed shot without blur and OE can happen - was a bit, but well done. Yes bigger lenses get you closer! 1000m runway - a good challenge for the boys.
