I was thinking about incidents involving the rescue choppers the other day. I can recall 3 significant incidents over the last few years.
BK117 collision with a tree, Wairarapa 2003 BK117 hard landing/fuel feed error, Canterbury, 20014 AS355 collision with tree, Taupo, 2014
Can anyone think of others?

While Peter Button was operating a rescue helicopter service, that was only part of his overall business and he was actually engaged in police operations (chartered by police as part of a hunt for a fugitive) when he crashed after striking high-tension power-lines during that operation.

From memory, John Fogden got fogged in near NZAP and collected a tree in Rescue Squirrel ZK-HNP mid 1980s

What’s the path to becoming an EMS pilot? Both rotary and fixed wing.
