I note in the latest Classic Wings that Spitfire Vc JG891, which was formerly owned and partially restored by the Subritzky family of North Shore, is now flying in the UK. The former RAAF aircraft was recovered from Papua New Guinea as a wreck back in 1973. John Romain's Historic Flying Ltd of Duxford, who finished off the restoration. It took to the air on the 2nd of November 2006, and the new owner, Thomas Blair, has had it painted in 249 Sqn RAF Malta colours, wearing the codes T-B. Blair also recently bought a Hurricane and Buchon. I have found a couple of threads on PlaneTalk which show the lovely Spitfire in its element(despite massive watermarks all over the photos!!) forum.planetalk.net/viewtopic.php?t=2686&highlight=jg891and forum.planetalk.net/viewtopic.php?t=2698&highlight=jg891

Looks good with the tropical filter and Mediteranean camouflage.
