Looks like the ex-RNZAF aircraft will be flying for some time yet. Draken have signed a new contract to provide the USAF with Adversary Air service. Draken International Press release - New ContractThough it does look like their fleet has expanded to Mirage F1s and IIIs (South African AF Cheetah)

They have a large, diverse fleet these days. I wonder how the A-4Kahus measure up technologically against the others, still near the top or do some of the additions have tech upgrades too?

The Cheetahs and Mirage F1 upgrades are more modern (better radar, RWR), and able to provide the supersonic threat presentations the USAF contract require. I imagine the A4s will slide down the pecking order once those new fleets are up and running and probably do more A2G. www.deagel.com/Sensor-Systems/ELM-2032_a001228001.aspx

Syndicate! Make sure it's a T-Bird That would be NZ6252 then, Draken's other T-bird crashed in 2016.

Sorry guys, this will turn into another dreamers thread. The Draken owned aircraft will never leave US ownership. The only way any of these aircraft would ever be seen here again is if the Singaporeans(if they ever base here) use them as an adverse training force,so i guess, pick your fantasy...

I hear Draken have an upgrade underway to our A-4s to give them a helmet mounted sight/weapon cueing capability with a modern AA missile with a 180 deg off boresight capability! Possible upgrades to other systems too (the Kahu kit is 30 years old now and difficult to support).

@aviation_Intel: Draken International has painted John McCain's name on one of their A-4Ks as a tribute to the famed 'scooter' driver and Senator. Nicely done guys! t.co/IhozErCdRl
