Today spent a pleasant morning at Rose Bay on Sydney Harbour, for around forty years, Empire Class, Catalinas, Sunderlands, Sandrighams and Solents operated off this beautiful stretch of water. These days a couple of operators do a variety of scenic flights around the area. The building in the background is a restaurant named Catalinas.

Hired one of the Beavers years ago to impress a girlfriend. Flew from Rose Bay to a restaurant on the Hawkesbury River...he departed and came back on a telephone call....marvellous time

Seawing Airways Beaver VH-SWB is an ex-Fieldair Beaver I flew with the pilot/owner once and he told me that he personally ferried it from Palmerston North. He keeps it at Bankstown I think
