The Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum and the RAF Manston Memorial Museum use the same car park so it's two birds with one stone so to speak. I spotted the old tower on the site, not wartime, 1950s era. Web site www.spitfiremuseum.org.ukNice statue out the front. Their MK XVI has a number of victories to her credit, she also flew in the film Reach for the Sky. Late model Hurricane was mainly used in training role. This museum has a number of displays of parts excavated from crash sites. Machine gun from a German bomber Stirling bomber tail wheel assembly.
