Recently had the privilege to attend the Flying Legends airshow, couple of museums
on site and other interesting things going on during the show

It’s a bit of a hike from the IWM British hangar to the American Air Museum
seeing I was there during Flying Legends there were a few distractions along
the way.

Some beautiful large scale rc jobs, to be honest I’d be terrified to fly them.


The effort put into the scale detail needs to be seen to be believed.


The weathering on this Hellcat speaks for itself.




The beautiful hangars were quite empty as everything that is normally in them
was out on the flight line.


Sorry to say this again as I said the hangars are beautiful, some of their
contents are pretty nice to look at as well.

Staying with the Hawker theme among the many vendors at the show stumbled across a Hawker Typhoon restoration project.


A complete engine but the rest has a fair way to go, airworthy Typhoon now that would be something!


Nice building for the American Air Museum.
