Sure looks like it. I thought it might have been some refuelling apparatus for a start. He sure did get a bit close, thought there might have been too much buffetting to get that close, then again he might have passed through that and was in clean air. The loady would have given him a boot with his steel caps if he got too close I supposse.

I wonder if he got any help guiding him in as I have heard those foreplanes are in a place that causes a big blind spot.

I think it's telephoto effect that makes the Typhoon look much closer than it probably really is. Not to say that it probably isn't close anyway!
