Russell Brodie scores again: Little Fokker project set to fly in South CanterburyA South Canterbury-built replica of a 103-year-old German fighter plane is almost ready to fly. Russell Brodie, his son Ross, and friends, hope to take to the skies above the Rangitata Island Aerodrome this week, to test their replica 1915 Fokker Eindekker based on the single-seat fighter aircraft made famous in World War 1.

Hopefully it handles a bit better than the original supposedly did - I believe it was hideously sensitive in pitch.
