That was a really cool article to read and they going to have a crack at Napier Sabre engine as well. Good luck with that one as I’m told it’s was one of most complex piston engines every built during the WW2?

The Napier Sabre was a good reason to get a move on to develop the jet engine.
If the bracket is a non flight part(or even a flight part), it could also be made as a lost wax, or lost plastic casting, the pattern made with a 3D printer, I imagin that the original was a casting. isc
