I live in Walton on Thames, Surrey, UK and I am researching the above hospital that was here during WW1 and run by New Zealanders for New Zealanders. I would like to hear from anyone who had an ancestor who worked at the hospital or was treated there and also from anyone with documents, photographs etc relating to the hospital. There is an ANZAC service here every year and has been since 1920. It is held on the Sunday nearest to 25 April which this year is the 28th and this year there is an extra part with a memorial plaque being unveiled by the NZ High Commissioner at 5.30pm with the service at 6.30pm followed by wreath laying at the graves in the cemetery adjacent to the church.
