A B-47 was flown under a bridge in the USA.

Believe it or not...

In April, 1959, a USAF pilot flew his Boeing B-47 Stratojet strategic jet bomber under the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan.
He was grounded forever for the exploit and fined $300.

I had the pleasure and privilege of being invited as a VIP to Castle Air Force base in Atwater , California in 1986 to witness the arrival of the last flight of a B.47 that had been dragged out of China Lake, restored and then flown to Castle for their museum. Fantastic memory.

Also a Bonanza did it post war and a Nieuport around the time of WW1
