Forum members Simon Gault and Chris Bromley posted a video on Facebook last night announcing that they are no longer the owners of Thunder Mustang ZK-TMG, and I see from Bryan Gault's comment it is headed overseas. I want to say what a great privilege it was to see that awesome machine displayed at various airshows over the years and also to know the owners. I'll never forget the amazing ride that Simon took me on many years ago. And I also won't forget at our first ever forum meet when Simon and Chris arrived at Hamilton Airport with a low fast pass along the runway before a break to land. Also Bryan's amazing display here in Cambridge too. Even though it has not been out and about on the airshow circuit for a while, I'll miss it when it leaves. There's nothing quite like the Thunder Mustang in New Zealand. Thanks again guys!! www.facebook.com/groups/341748960535/permalink/10157357237575536/

Always liked the look of these aircraft. As close in shape as the real thing and according to Simon, faster than a real P51D below 10000ft!
