Temora Showcase June 2019

Yesterday made it out to Temora for the day from Sydney, overcast with high cloud so
tricky photo conditions, the sky shots are harsh, best of a bad bunch!

Poor shot, best one I got, shows off her form, Matt Denning began the
restoration of this Boomerang as a teenager, he now displays her.


Matt Denning and airshow commentator Pete Anderson, after each display while the next
aeroplane is setting up Pete interviews the pilot, always interesting.


Mk XVI


Mk VIII


Again harsh light but shows there is not much difference between a Mk VIII
and Mk XVI, anyone spot the difference, apart from paint?




Decent set of fangs on the Spitfire.






Only airworthy single seat Meteor in the world.

Planecrazy, nice photos given the conditions. AND you did get a P-40 so that was a bonus for you. By the look of things I made the right decision not to go as it looks a bit cold and miserable, and given I am still fighting off the tail end of a nasty head cold I would have probably suffered. Now the wait until August.

Thanks Col, was cold but not the freezing I was expecting, really nice variety in the line up
and yeah bonus the P40 and a Kiwi Harvard especially as this one ferried through Lord Howe
Island many moons ago!

I watched this one last night, I really enjoyed it! Certainly solidified my desire to get to Temora one day.
