Looks more like a piece of rock than something from an Oxford!

I love the Q&A responses...
Q "Does it still fly? Its not clear from the description" Q "If the buyer chose to fly it away, would I be correct that it would have to be flown unpressurised until the hole in the front was repaired?"

I love the Q&A responses... Q "Does it still fly? Its not clear from the description" Q "If the buyer chose to fly it away, would I be correct that it would have to be flown unpressurised until the hole in the front was repaired?" Answer for the second question ... Sure strap on the Vampire pod from Classic flyers TG, fill in the excess "hole in the front" with corrugated iron. Duck tape the wings back on, use the tail booms from the Vampire out back. Your good to go, come on guys all it takes is just a little bit of Kiwi can do... As for the first question well that's just silly...refer to step two first...lol. Just wanted to add something totally ridiculous to celebrate my Thousandth post...

Firstly, great 1000th TS!
Secondly, as a piece of total trivia, my Great-grandfather built the house for (I think) the Kebble family
Thirdly, in trying to track down the former owner of a book I bought on TradeMe (about trout fishing)whose name (R Brooke-Taylor) was written on the fly leaf, I encountered the pilot's son. Needless to say, I was trying to track him down due to the connection but we were unable to conclude that the book had in fact belonged to Sgt. Brooke-Taylor.
