With all the recent talk online about the current Trademe auction for the mortal remains of Boeing 727 NZ7272, I am wondering is the other 727, NZ7271, is still actively flying? It was sold to Swaziland in Africa, and became 3D-KMJ. Any ideas?

A normally very reliable spy informs me that necessary consents have been obtained and an engineering firm commissioned to fashion supports to mount the fuselage on as part of conversion to accommodation/residence.

Yea that is just up the road from my house. Its between Leeston and Doyleston. I'll see if i can get get a better photo. It has a tail now and looks a bit tidier than in that photo
