Hi all, Yesterday I finished my Eduard Airacobra in the colours of Jerry Yagen's Pioneer Aero-restored example as she was when test flying in New Zealand. This is an older kit but still apparently the most accurate/"best" P-39 in 1/48 scale, and in many boxings comes with goodies such as photoetch details and masks. Unfortunately my masks were fluffy thanks to improper storage on my part. Another great bonus is a specially-moulded nose weight which is a must for a 'cobra. Hopefully she looks about right on your screen.

Very cool, I had a relative who flew them in the Solomon Islands. Got shot down in one as well!

I think I commented on your Facebook post on it too but that Eduard Cobra kit is beautiful, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is not just a P-39 lover but just enjoys building a really well-made kit. In fact it's one of the few kits that I don't think I encountered a single problem during the entire build, apart from maybe the odd self-inflicted one. Still, quality of the kit aside your build looks awesome Zac, well done.
