I have received an inquiry about this aircraft. Islander ZK-EVT arrived in NZ in April 1990 and went into service with Aspiring Air, operating out of Wanaka. By 2013 it was out of service and parked up at Invercargill - see photo. The registration was cancelled as withdrawn from use in January 2015. Does any substantial remnants of this aircraft still exist, and if so, where? (Its sister ship ZK-EVO went on from Aspiring to the Great Barrier run with Commercial Helicopters).

A local collected it for parts on his cropmaster? Rebuild. He used to post here but not anymore.

There's an Islander fuselage hanging up in the Stewart Island Flights/South East Air hangar in Invercargill, but it may not be that one, I haven't paid a much attention to it before.

I now have received an answer to the question, and the mystery has been resolved.
Thanks to all those who took the time to look under hedges and behind hangars.
