I was not aware that New Zealand still played cricket, have not see any international cricket for years. What happened?

To answer your original question Dave, Ross Taylor has surpassed Stephen Fleming as NZs highest test run scorer. The two of them are the only two NZers to have scored more than 7000 test runs, Brendan McCullum is in 3rd place and he didn't get above 6500 but I expect Kane Williamson (currently in 4th spot) to join them eventually.

Dave, You should have a lot more pride !......I follow the Cronulla Sharkies in the NRL here....it was 50 years until they won their first and only Premiership and when they did the entire district erupted. It was a lop sided test series but I enjoyed watching the games. Taylor did a great job and it is a great personal achievement. As I said, I follow the Sharks....you take the good with the bad.

Thanks flyingkiwi. Good on him.
Ando, I do not have a TV as I threw it away about four years ago, but if I did still have it I wouldn't have Sky so would never see cricket anyway. In the olden days I used to sometimes go watch one dayers live, and always watched them on TV, but when Sky took the rights I completely lost track of it all and lost all interest. Mind you I do not have the time for that sort of thing anymore either.

Dave, Understand ref Sky. I wouldnt pay either.....luckily it is still free to air here. If that ever changed there would be TV executives strung from every light pole.
