The local police posted this picture on the community Facebook page, these pieces where washed up on a local beach out in the Tasman Sea. Don't want to speculate, have a fair idea where they came from but best wait and see? If I'm correct they have drifted along way from the west Island!

What makes them think they are helicopter blades. They could be off a fixed wing composite propellor, although I'm not sure if one has been known to go into the sea? Would you know?

I guess the picture doesn't show the size, around 6 feet long, you are correct I don't know if they are Helicopter blades, I just wanted to check a couple of things before I posted some more details. Thoughts with the family and friends of those effected. Heath Roberts New Member ยท January 23 at 9:37 AM Urgent... A couple of pieces of helicopter wreckage have been washed up on Blinky Beach over the past couple of weeks. Somebody has found them and placed them beside the garbage bins. I need to find that person to obtain further information. This is a photo of the last piece found. If any further pieces are located please contact me as a matter of urgency please. The wreckage is part of the helicopter that crashed late September at Port Stephens. Thanks, Heath.
