Great job and nice to see a less often modelled subject, it is interesting that the Buffalos wore a similar scheme to the early wartime Spitfires and Hurricanes with the half black undersides.

The underside colours still did not stop the Indian Army gun crews shooting at the Buffaloes, as Geoff Fisken found out.

Only its mother could love it but it is certainly an aircraft I would very much like to see flying. Outclassed and outgunned but in the hands of a skilful and determined pilot.... That book should be compulsory reading for anyone studying the history of the outbreak of war in the Pacific.

Geoff Fisken remarked that the Brewster Buffalo's handling, like a 'ladies Plane' which I guess you could interpret as having very nice flying qualities (?) That you never tried to out turn the A6M Zero as it would catchup behind you in less that a full circle. Lucky to meet Geoff at a Wairarapa airshow one year.
