Just downloaded the FS ADDONS B170 (highlighted in today's Flight Sim front page) Cost 19 pounds. Comments: for the military version Mk1? A very good rendition of NZ5903 in Vietnam camo scheme. Excellent VC cockpit with lots of working switches. A load manager (comes up under views/instruments) which allows various doors and hatches to be opened, plus chocks and covers. The aircraft flys well with good Freighter characteristics. Niggles; The camo scheme is inaccurate on the upper surfaces, and for some reason the lower mainplanes are in camo and not grey. No upper wing roundel (port) or underwing roundel. Mainpane tips are square and not rounded as per our Freighters Sound: the default sound is all wrong (suspect a modified C47 sound) However good copies of Hercules sounds are available (free downloads) and the one I have found best is Elmo-Slack-s-Bristol-Centaurus-Soundset--2018 The SAFE version of the freighter is well presented and has the correct mainplane tips

It is an incredibly gorgeous piece of work - the user screenshots I've seen over at NZFF of the virtual cockpit made my jaw drop. I don't have the money to spare for FS aircraft but if I did, this would be a prime contender. Beautiful.
I'd love to see Al have a go!

Trundling along between NZWB and NZWG on B170 SATS and realised another niggle, lack of the dorsal fin on the upper fuselage. The model they based the freighter on is the first Mk1 freighter
