In WWII the 2nd NZ Division Cavalry Regiment in Greece included a motorcycle troop. Does any know what types of bikes were used at that time?

Most likely Indians (USA) and BSA UK Army issue standard motorcycles. The NZ Army had begun using Indians in 1939/40 in NZ

2nzef used Norton & BSA motorcycles in Infantry Battalions 1940, BSA, Matchless, Indian in 1943-45 they may have used them in intercommunication troop with had 41 motorcycles (Don R) in divisional cavalry regiment (WE ii/1931/6/3 9th October 1940)
