 I went to ship an order from overseas and discovered the cheap option SAL is not available at the moment. Only offered options DHL at twice the price of purchase and FEDEX at fives times the purchase price. I hope when local shops restock their kits and modelling supplies it is via surface freight or local prices are going to skyrocket like some countries infection rates.

Air freight rates have shot up, as there are a lot fewer passenger airplane bellies flying about (and increased demand to bulky stuff like masks).

I have heard of a tripling in air freight costs. SAL is airfrieight expedient, not usually on passenger flights.

Looks like the cost of everything will be similar to when we last had the old Norm!
