Finding Service History Details of WW2 Army Person

Apologies if I have posted in wrong place.
I have been asked to find Service history of Cyril Cedrid Walker who served in the Army in the Pacific Theatre during WW2. He was born in Whangarei 1910, died suddenly Panmure 1962. All help greatly appreciated.
