Not I sadly but the weather forecast is looking very promising currently so hopefully you'll get a good turnout!

I was pleasantly surprised at such a great and varied turnout for a fairly local event. Many thanks to Bruce and his helpers for doing such a great job (even if I was too slow to grab lunch). There were 9 aircraft there that I had not seen before, which goes to show how we have been event-starved recently. New to me: Hawera-based Vans RV-10 ZK-PHL, ex Australia Pipistrel Virus SW ZK-TCB from Whakatane ZK-VNS, a Vans RV-9A I really think these things are pig-ugly, but someone must like them - Just Aircraft Highlander ZK-JPU In contrast, possibly the best-looking Sonex around, ZK-PDB Vans RV-6 ZK-SJC A real racy looking number - Arion Aircraft Lightning ZK-JMZ The most recent addition to the Wilkinson stable, Wilkinson ZK-EZG Suitable for those of slender build and who travel light - Innovator Mosquito XE ZK-IXI My two 'Young Eagle' pax that I bought along in C172 ZK-JRA were really stoked with the variety of aircraft on show.

Good stuff Peter. When the weather is good Black Sands always develops into a national event, with people coming from as afar as Whangarei to Otago.
