Fox Moth from 1/48 Airfix Tiger Moth

I've just received an Airfix 1/48 Tiger which I want to convert into a Fox Moth. I reviewed several Fox conversion threads on Britmodeller and plan to use the drawings on this thread www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235009220-tiger-moth-to-fox-moth/

Before I start building a new centre section for the top wing can anyone confirm the wingtip shape as the model and plans don't match.

I have dusted off this conversion and started with the wing span adjusted to account for the Fox Moth fuselage/fuel tank additional width.

Just a couple bits in the middle to add and shez all done - not. The engine is just sitting there. It's not at the correct angle

I'm rather keen on a 1/48 Fox myself so I'm keenly following along!! I'm well into my first Airfix 1/48 Tiger with plans for more...what's one more purchase

I don't know how many times I've taken the cab sides and engine bulkhead off to get it right. Not an easy conversion. The engine is just taped in place so I can adjust the front bulkhead shape. Cutting out the windows and a heat mounded cabin roof are the next tasks.
