I'm surprised no one has commented about this. NZ Warbirds have just received a brand new, Canadian built, never flown, Ranger powered Albatros DVa. Apparently, it was built using original plans and looks like it will be a stunner once assembled. I'm looking forward to eventually seeing this one fly. www.facebook.com/NZ-Warbirds-Association-Inc-150073775005366/

Yes, another interesting addition to their WWI fleet. I have been looking forward to its arrival.

Looks great. One of my favourite WW1 types. Nice scheme too.

Yes we now have her in the ww1 hangar and she is one very very nice machine. Slowly starting to piece it together and hopefully together for the next open day but i doubt she will be ready to fly by then

Wow, that looks great! Nice to see the Polikarpov in the background there too.

That fuselage decoration will make it a sod to do a model of!

Albatros registered as ZK-ARS (was C-GIVT) - thanks NZCivair. Warbirds said on Facebook Thursday that a flight is still possible on Sunday if the CAA stars align.
