Been watching all the aviation fun people have flying in DCS and next year plan to build a VR Flight Sim and get proficient in the A4K and go to war! Beautiful Fan made trailer just popped up on YouTube:

DCS is an awesome sim, definitely the way to go for combat flight simulation, the aeroplanes are amazingly well detailed and when you add virtual reality support it becomes scarily realistic at times.

Those of you who play DCS World: what sort of PC setup are you running? It's still a distant dream but I'm compiling different players' rigs so I have an idea of what to buy when finances allow.

Those of you who play DCS World: what sort of PC setup are you running? It's still a distant dream but I'm compiling different players' rigs so I have an idea of what to buy when finances allow. I’m no pro level DCS user just love how immersive and detailed this sim is. Each aircraft is a unique challenge to master I’m just starting with the F18C carrier ops, navigating and some guided A/G weapons. I have a Alienware M15 laptop as don’t have space for dedicated PC. Seems to handle the graphics but haven’t done any big campaigns yet. The thing that really works for immersion is a Delanclip head tracker.
