I read on here that 2 new Cresco's have gone to Hawkes Bay - Rural Aviation ?
I'd be interested to know how such an 'old name' company - still functions - what distribution of aircraft they have ?
Do they operate as a franchise ? - (don't know if you can use that term in aviation !)
Is there a person at the top - or is Rural Aviation a name anyone can use
Thanks - happy new year

The Crescos are Rural Air Work Limited which would not appear to be connected to Rural Aviation (1963) Limited.
Having said that, the historical Rural Aviation still exists at Ardmore and I think there might still be aircraft registered to it. Aviation identity Grant Biel is part of it.

According to the NZ Companies register, Rural Air Work Limited was incorporated in 2013 and has one Director - Joshua Parker CALDER of Otane.

For the longest time I'd only heard Josh's name in connection with the first new Cresco, whose registration is his wife's name! It was only a week ago I realised he was Rural.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Josh has pedaled that other pink thing around CHB for years?
