Wonderful news that it’s been taken out of the elements and will hopefully be restored and returned to stock condition. It strikes me that in the first paragraph they call the airframe complete but in the second-to last par they mention it’s missing its “original windshield, canopy or rear fuselage”. Some of the Indian museum/display restorations from the past are pretty rough, at least going by photos I’ve seen in magazines and online - some make the Copping Kittyhawk look like a Golden Wrench winner. I wish I had some examples to link you to Dave but, honestly, if you think this Hurricane looks fake anything else would probably ruin your evening!

Yes I have seen others you speak of. They really have no idea of authenticity. Which is why it looks fake.
